30 ROCK

Since I am on “TEAM BALDWINâ€? and since this was the article that got me hired (here on 451 Press) why not share it with you! I would sincerely hate for a perfectly good TV show to be ruined just because Alec Baldwin left a private “hostileâ€? voice mail message. No matter what anger issues Alec may or may not have, the sitcom 30 Rock is amazing. Do yourself a favor and try to brush your emotional reaction under the carpet. There are few and far between sitcoms that have come along with this level of intellect and humor. Don’t miss out on good TV, just because you didn’t like his message. That is about as smart as cutting off your nose to spite your face. Unless of course you have a really good plastic surgeon.

30 Rock is, by far, one of the best new shows to hit Television. It is the perfect remedy to the monotony of reality TV. 30 Rock mirrors the personal life of Tina Fey and her personal experiences as a head writer for SNL.

next_on_105.jpgThe role of Liz Lemon, head writer for a challenging live TV show and extreme introvert, played by Tina Fey, delivers non-stop uber relatable content to the viewer. Liz Lemon is a frustrated single woman, lacking in social skills. She tries to get the best out of her fellow writers and support the cast of actors, all while trying to appease her boss, a meddling pain in the neck network executive, played by Alec Baldwin. Tina Fey displays her smart comedic genius in every episode, forcing you to fall in love with her and the character Liz Lemon.

images-1.jpg While Alec Baldwin is busy showcasing one of, if not his best, acting performance outside of the movie The Departed. His perfect execution and flawless delivery of each line will crack you up. Anger issues come in handy when playing this role. For real. That’s not just my huge crush talking either! (Jealous much? Huh Kim?)

Every week 30 Rock proves to be witty, fast paced, refreshing, and funnier than the week before.

Since I have yet to obtain a TiVo or a DVR, I cannot wait until the DVD and / or syndication comes around. I need to see all the scenes I missed in the original episodes. Missed scenes due to the self inflicted accidental choking from laughter, until I reach the point of turning blue, on a beverage inhaled down the wrong pipe. Now that’s just good TV.

Fortunately anything I have missed can be found on NBC HERE

That being said…What will you do? Continue to watch a great show? Or? Will you BAN 30 Rock because of your personal views on Alec Baldwin?
