American Idol-less

by

americanidol3.jpgAmerican Idol seems a little flat this year. Or is it just me? So far, I haven’t really seen too many people that I care about that much. There’s not been that one person who I saw and I was like, yeah! that’s who I’m gonna pay attention to this year. That’s the person, I’m gonna watch for on Hollywood week. That’s who I want to see on the concert. That person should win.

Honestly, I can barely remember anyone at this point who is going to Hollywood. Well, I do remember Jeffrey and his sister, Michelle, but he was pretty large and in charge. I mean, he made an impression.

I just watched Wednesday night’s show a few minutes ago, as I write this, and I really don’t remember who they put through. Oh, I remember the Dolly Parton chick, cause I had to go look up some Dolly songs myself. Just cause. And personally, if it were me, I’d have sung I Will Always Love You. But that’s just me. Also, she wasn’t too hot, in my opinion, and I doubt she’ll survive Hollywood week.

In years gone past, I can remember the first time I saw people like Carrie Underwood, George Huff, Constantine Maroulis, Chris Sligh, Sanjaya Malakar and others at their first auditions. I actually remember thinking I liked Carrie’s voice from the commercial before they actually showed the ep with her audition. And I’m not even a Carrie fan. The point is, I saw these people at their first audition and knew they were someone to watch. I haven’t seen anyone like that this year.

Disagree with me if you will, but the very fact that I can’t really remember these people speaks for itself as far as I’m concerned. If this is the best season of American Idol ever, where are the stars?

Don’t you think his tractor’s sexy? LOL.

Or how about the chick on the Harley?

    David “the rooster” Cook?

Okay you’re right. No one’s leaping out at me just yet. :(

Sorry, I’m not as in to tractors as I used to be! ;)
