Angry People Anonymous

by Toni

OK, so I’ve been checking out what’s on each night all week and here’s the run down for today. It’s a big night for NBC with My Name is Earl, 30 Rock, The Office and Scrubs. I remember when I saw Serenity (great film, btw, you should buy it and the series that it came from, Firefly, on DVD) and they showed a clip of Earl, which was just coming out. It seemed funny, but for some reason, I never got around to watching it.

Here’s a clip with some bloopers from Earl:

Oh, and this is a true story, someone I used to go to school with recently contacted me through Classmates.com and apologized for something he had done to me in 8th grade. I’m not kidding. Apparently, it was part of some recovery program he was in. He had to find and apologize to people he’d hurt like 30 years earlier. Is that crazy or what??!! Anyway, he said he hit me in the eye with a wad of tinfoil. I don’t remember at all. And even if I had remembered, I wouldn’t still be angry. I mean, we’re talking about something that happened in 1977 or 78. I barely remember what I had for breakfast, I certainly can’t remember something that happened that long ago. Plus, I probably had already forgiven him, cause I recall him as kinda hot. Its more likely I was annoying and hanging around or something and I got what I deserved. Anyway, I thought it was weird that people really do that. So, if I’ve done anything to offend any of you . . . too bad.

Back to the line up . . . no wait, that’s it. Unless Ugly Betty is a sitcom, but I don’t think so. But doesn’t it seem like it should be?

Was he wearing hip-hugger jeans and a suede vest when he threw that tinfoil at you? hahahahaha :)

  2. Toni Says:

    Very probably.

We must have been in Home Ec or something, cause, you know, tinfoil. Of course, they don’t even have that anymore do they? Actually, maybe only the girls took Home Ec and the guys were in auto shop or something like that, so who knows.
