Curb Your Enthusiasm (UPDATE!)

It’s true! It’s true! One more season! Curb Your Enthusiasm will be back! It’s coming back in September!

Say hello again to the incredible cast: Larry David (as himself) Cheryl Hines ( Cheryl David, Larry’s wife) Jeff Garlin ( as Jeff Green, Larry’s manager) and Susie Essman (as Susize Green, Jeff’s wife)

Candid, unsparing and self-deprecating, Curb Your Enthusiasm brings the off-kilter comic vision of Larry David (co-creator and co-executive producer of one of the most lauded comedy series in TV history, Seinfeld) to HBO. The series blurs the lines between reality and fiction, as Larry and a cast of real and fictional characters are followed around Los Angeles by an ubiquitous camera that chronicles the private, often banal world of a (relatively) public man.

I just saw the preview for Curb on HBO Sunday night before the biggest let down,The Soprano’s series finale. I am already overwhelmed with anticipation! Larry gets a call from his wife Cheryl who is preparing for a plane crash and wanted to say, “I love you? just in case she wasn’t going to make it home. Larry, of course, is too busy with some insignificant distraction and asks her to call back in 5 minuets.

I absolutely cannot wait for this next season. I can’t wait to see who will be making guest appearances, whom Larry will offend, and what other uncomfortable, humiliating situations he will find himself in.

  3. Mark Jabo Says:

Larry must have thought it would be a good idea to come back for one more season just to cover any alimony payments to Laurie. :)

  4. DaveP Says:

I love Curb, and am so glad it’s coming back.

The problem is, we in the UK are soooo far behind, and it keeps getting shifted around in the schedules. It’s the most intelligent sitcom to come out of America for a long while. A good swap for ‘The Office’ ;)

  5. Meleah Hawthorne Says:

    Dave: AGREED! Thanks!

  6. Jessica K. Says:

Glad to see this is coming back. I’m looking forward to September.

  7. JENNIFER Says:

    NICES.
