Don’t Doom Dollhouse
There’s a new trailer for Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse, but I’ll get to that in a minute. OK, don’t misunderstand me, I’m not unhappy about it, but I’m still a bit concerned about what FOX is doing with the show. I’m a little concerned about what FOX is doing with their whole schedule for the new mid-season line up.
Here’s the schedule, as far as I know it, and pretty much only listing those days I actually care about:
MONDAYS
8:00 pm - 24 (part 2 of season premiere on Jan 12- Part 1 airs Jan 11, moves to 9 pm on Jan 19)
8:00 pm - House (starts Jan 19)
TUESDAYS
8:00 pm - American Idol (Season Premiere, Part 1 - Jan 13)
9:00 pm - Fringe (starting Jan 20)
WEDNESDAYS
8:00 pm - American Idol (Season Premiere, Part 2 - Jan 14)
9:00 pm - Lie To Me (new series starts Jan 21)
THURSDAYS
8:00 pm - Bones (starts Jan 15)
9:00 pm - Kitchen Nightmares (until Jan 22)
9:00 pm - Hell’s Kitchen (season premiere starts Jan 29)
FRIDAYS
8:00 pm - Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? (until Feb 6)
9:00 pm - Don’t Forget the Lyrics! (until Feb 6)
8:00 pm - Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (starts Feb 13)
9:00 pm - Dollhouse (series premiere starts Feb 13)
So maybe now you can see my concern. Dollhouse has been put in the Friday night time slot of death. Why? Why???? OK, I’m good. I’m trying to get on the bandwagon here. I’m trying to just be happy that Joss will be back on my TV screen with a new show. I’m even trying to remember that FOX now has new execs who may be kinder and gentler to my Friday night sci fi shows. I’m trying.
Oh, before I forget, here’s the trailer:
