Got Your Back

If I’m honest, the new sitcom I’m most interested in seeing is Back To You on Fox, airing Wednesday, September 19 at 8 pm.

I’m sorry in advance for my “I Hate Fox” rant that follows. I really do want to see this show, but I just hate to get attached and I don’t know how else to say it. I mean, just you watch, the show will be great. It will be really funny and I’ll love it. Then Fox will pull the plug on the show and the rug out from under me. I’ll be left sitting there (or lying there, as the case may be) wondering what went wrong and why the execs at Fox don’t like me.

Anyway, from what I’ve seen, they are really promoting the heck out of this show and the reviews look pretty good. I mean, Kelsey Grammer and Patricia Heaton, how bad can it be.

I always loved Cheers and Frasier, and still watch Everybody Loves Raymond every day. I mean really. Everyday between 5:30 and 7:30 pm, while I’m making, eating and cleaning up from dinner, Raymond is on twice. And we usually watch it.

Kelsey and Patricia promise that its funny. I believe them.

This does look like a promising sitcom…and you’re probably right…Fox will axe it before anyone gets a chance to see it. Especially if it is up against reality shows in the fall :(

  2. Toni Says:

I know it. What is the deal with all the reality shows?? I think it will be up against Lost, which can’t be good.

  3. Sanjumanji Says:

Well I don’t watch Lost so I guess I’ll be watching this show…although I’m still a little pissed at Kelsey Grammer ;)

  4. Stacy Says:

I hadn’t heard about this show, but I think those actors did so well with their shows. I gotta check this out - thanks for spotlighting it.

  5. Toni Says:

I heard a lot about it for a while, but not as much recenty. I am looking forward to it.
