I Married Bewitched
So the other night I was re-watching my Roswell DVDs and I saw the ep I Married an Alien that was supposed to be a take-off on Bewitched. I got all geekily excited because I had completely forgotten the stove. See, I grew up with the same stove in my house that they used on Bewitched and which they also somehow found for this ep of Roswell. A 1962 Frigidaire Flair.
We just replaced it about a month ago and it still worked! It’s actually sitting in my garage right now cause I can’t bring myself to just throw it out. We wouldn’t have replaced it at all, except that we had this storm that messed up our electricity and it fried something in the small oven. The part couldn’t be replaced and our homeowner’s insurance actually paid to replace the stove, so we did it.
Anyway, my sister is fond of saying it’s the Bewitched stove. I guess at the time, it was like this new exciting breakthrough in ranges or something. And Samantha didn’t even need a stove.

Wow!! That’s a beautiful range. I don’t blame you for not wanting to just throw it out. Loved Bewitched but I never really noticed the range in the kitchen…they rarely ever filmed in there unless Samantha was in there trying to get her mother or one of her other crazy relatives to go away!! LOL. Wait a minute…that did happen a lot so I guess I just didn’t notice the range because we weren’t lucky enough to have one.

Wow I have that stove in my house, I need some parts would you be willing to sell it? Let me know by e-mail. I would love to replace it but my family says “NO” Because they love it. Mine works fine, except for two of the burners are not working. I shined mine up and it looks great. Everyone how sees it loves it. But it sure is a pain to clean. It’s all stainless in and outside. Please left me know if you want to sell it to someone who truly appreciates what a fine piece of equipment it is.
thanks

Hi Pat1! Where were you back in the Fall?? My hubby wouldn’t let me keep the stove in the garage anymore and he had it junked! Can you believe it? I actually cried. I tried so hard to find someone who would take it. I would have given it to you. I’m really sorry.
