Terminating the Terminator
Unbelievable. Just un-stinking-believable. Last year, as anyone who has read my blogs will know, I suffered through each and every episode of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I didn’t think the show was too good, cause it seemed all that happened was people running around and things blowing up. There was no real story behind it all, at least it seemed so to me, and we never got a chance to know the characters.
But this season, only 5 episodes in, they’ve fixed all that. For me, this season has been really good. I’m looking forward to what happens next. Now I found out that not everyone is as dedicated as I am. The show has lost ratings, and FOX is afraid that it’s bringing down Prison Break, one of FOX’s big shows. I’ve never seen Prison Break and I don’t think I care to (even though I have noticed that it has some Buffy alum) cause it just doesn’t appeal to me. I still want to watch Sarah Connor, though.
It’s the same old thing with FOX. They are evil people. They bring you something, it just starts getting good, and then they kill it. Right in front of you. You have to watch it die.
Let me name just some of the great shows that FOX has killed off (not in any particular orrder): Firefly, Drive, John Doe, Arrested Development, New Amsterdam, Standoff, Dark Angel, Tru Calling. I don’t know, there’s probably a dozen more. These are just shows I thought of that I watched and liked. They were good shows that should have been given more of a chance before being axed.
I’ve said this again and again about FOX. And the worse part of all this is FOX is probably the station I watch more than any other. It has most of the shows I like. But then the executives at FOX do something like this. I thought that it was going to change. I had heard that there were new people in charge now. But I guess not. FOX hates us. I know this when I take a look at their schedule and see all the crummy shows they keep on the air.

Watch it on Hulu or Fancast if you aren’t Nielsen. You can watch for free, you will be noticed, and you will contribute revenue to the show.

Thanks, Geoff. I didn’t know that if you watched on hulu or fancast that you would be acknowledged. I admit that I usually have to DVR the show, but I still watch every week.
I just hope that they give ths show at least til the end of this season and see what happens.
