Tied to the Hitching Post

Fox has one other new sitcom for us, UnHitched. I’m not sure when this airs, because Fox has no info. I saw some sites that said “Fall” and one that said January 2008. So, I don’t know. Maybe its a midseason replacement. I was gonna talk about those after I gave the shows airing in the Fall a chance to tank.

I’ve not seen one commercial for this show. It’s like no one but me knows about it. So maybe it really is a midseason replacement.

In any case, I watched the official clip at Fox (there’s no blurb about the show there, just the clip) and a clip I found at myspace.

I’m sorry, but why aren’t these shows funnier??? It appears to be about a group of 30-something friends and their advertures in dating. There was a monkey and a leprachaun in the clips I saw, which definitely makes it weird, but I’m not sure it makes it funny.

I also found a Craig Bierko fan site. They seem to have more info than Fox about this show. And I do think that he’s cute, so I’m not sure if that proves I’m more or less shallow than people think.

    Sounds like a rip-off of Friends doesn’t it?

    I went to the site and noticed that “American Band” show. That’s a rip-off of Rockstar isn’t it? Doesn’t Fox have any original ideas for shows?
